Santa Rosa Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
The attendees at the 2019 Santa Rosa Volunteer Recognition Luncheon were in for a surprise at the lovely luncheon at the St. Rose of Lima gathering hall. Bryan Carter, our Circuit Director read a letter from Governor Ron DeSantis as he presented the Circuit 1 Volunteer of the Year award to David Johnston. David goes above and beyond in advocating for his volunteers where ever they may be. He’s been known to travel to Southern Florida to advocate for a child. His CAM, Lindsey Dubreuil, wrote a beautifully touching nomination that we also got to hear.
Edwinna Williams was awarded the Sourth Santa Rosa Volunteer of the Year.
The two Rookies of the Year went to Connie Way from the south end of the county and Helaine Clendennen from the north.
The Santa Rosa Kids’ House received the Community Partner of the Year. Their remarkable support of our program throughout the year, but especially at Christmas time, has been a tremendous gift to our children.
What a beautiful day of celebration! THANK YOU to all of our amazing Santa Rosa Volunteer Child Advocates!
